Carrascalejo is located in the province of Cáceres, Extremadura (Spain). 180 km from Madrid on the A5 motorway and in the middle of the Villuercas Ibores Jara Geopark, specifically next to the Altamira mountain range, and in the middle of the Valdelacasa anticline. - Walk its streets and discover its slate houses, typical of the Jara Cacereña region, as well as its monumental resources: fountains, squares, as well as points of special historical and religious interest (Church of Our Lady of the Assumption of the 17th century, Baptismal font from the 16th century and Baptistery font from the 18th century)
- Sports in the gym and municipal sports center with summer swimming pools and paddle tennis court.
- Enjoy the patron saint festivities in honor of San Mateo the week of September 21, as well as other festivities and designated events organized by the town association.
- Travel the route Camino Real to Guadalupe that passes in front of the rural house: walking or by bicycle. It is only 42 km away from Guadalupe.
